Full Description

Church of St Mary. There are no records of Domesday churches in the parish of Shotley, but it is likely to be one of the two churches recorded for the parish of East Bergholt (S3).
Built in C14. Consists of chancel, nave, clerestory, aisles, S porch, low modern tower. Chancel rebuilt in 1745. Details in (S1)(S2).
