Full Description

A church is recorded at Great Bealings in the Domesday survey. Church of St Mary. Consists of chancel, nave, N porch, W tower. Details in (S1)(S2).

2007: Monitoring of a trench for the insertion of a pipe, revealed the original floor level of the tower (S3).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2007 (S4).
