Full Description

A church is recorded at Winston, with 8 acres, in the Domesday survey. Church of St Andrew. Built C14/C15 (though note above and early C13 piscina in chancel). Consists of chancel, nave, W tower and spire. Details in (S1)(S2). S doorway C11/C12, tower C14, main structure C15/C16, restorations in C19 and early C20 (S3).
