Full Description

Fieldwalking by Edward Savery, 1993, located a scatter of Med pottery in a field on the north side of Ipswich Road, close to Cherrytree Green. The pottery is mainly unglazed wares of C13-C14 date, together with a late Med pancheon rim and a part-glazed jug sherd (S1).
Four possible sherds of Rom grey ware also recovered (S1).
