Full Description

Small ring ditch, circa 20m diameter, next to parish boundary, within cropmark complex, NBN 019 (S1).
The ring ditch mentioned above can be seen as a cropmark, centred on TM 27944311, on an aerial photograph taken in 1973. The ring ditch has an overall diameter of circa 9m and a possible central pit is visible . Its size suggests that it may be a hut circle and there is a possibility that the central mark may be a natural feature. An aerial photograph taken in 1990 may show the ring ditch but the central feature is not visible (S2). (S3)
See NBN 019 and HMY 006 for nearby field system cropmarks.
NB The ring ditch is now located in Hemley parish due to the amendment of the parish boundary.
