Full Description

`Ghost' of Micklewood delineated by Rackham (S2).
Rattlesden Wood is shown on Hodskinson's Map of Suffolk 1783, but the shape seems to imply that only the eastern half survived. The southern extension is recorded as coppice in 1841 (S1) called the `Nine Acre Fell'.
