Full Description

Church of St Michael. Consists of chancel, nave, S porch, W tower. Fine C14 W tower and simple flint panelled S porch both suffered terrible restoration. In porch there is a stoup. C14 priest's door in chancel has a late ball- flower ornament in hood mould. There is a typical arcaded C13 font bowl on a C16 shaft. Main structure C14/C15. Stuart rails form front to choir stalls. Visited by Dowsing in 1643/4. C20 restoration (S1)(S2)(S3).
