Moat, occupied, isolated in square of roads, part gone.

S of the house are the waterfilled remains of a homestead moat, with arms c7.0m wide. The two remaining sections are connected by a drainage ditch c2.0m wide on the line of the S arm. Extending northwards from the westerly section is an amorphous shallow depression which probably indicates the continuing course of the W arm.
