Full Description
Possible irregular enclosure cropmark, roughly rectangular with extended, rounded area on N side. Approximately 90m x 60m maximum (S1).
May 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The possible irregular enclosure of unknown date described above is more likely to be a pit of relatively recent origin, dug possibly as a quarry pit but more probably for agricultural purposes. It is visible as an earthwork and soilmark on aerial photographs.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 15th May 2015.
