Full Description

Site of former Staunch lock (S1) and Green Dragon Public House. Both shown on 1:10560 map of 1958 but gone by 1983 (S2). On length (Med diversion?) of river S of earlier roddon course, which aligns on parish boundary to N. See LKH Misc (CRN 10974) for BA palstave from `the Staunch by the Green Dragon'.
