Full Description
1547/48: Entry in certificate compiled by Commissioners for Henry VIII included reference to a free chapel in Leiston parish, built for the ease of the people "on the sea banckes, where the inhabitants be alwayes ready to kepe watche and worck for the defence and saftie of the same towne and countrye" (S1).
Exact location unknown though see entry for town of Sizewell - LCS 170.
