Full Description
Church of St John the Baptist. There are no recorded Domesday churches in the parish of Ilketshall St John but it is thought to be included as one of the five documented churches for the parish of Bungay (S2).
Consists of chancel, nave, W tower. 1267: Forfeited to prioress of Bungay by Sir James de Ilketshall on failure to repay loan of 27.5 marks of silver.

1860: Restored (S1).
