Full Description
Coin of Trinovantes/Catuvellauni, formerly part of H R Mossop Collection. Sold at Glendining's, November 1991. Gold 'quater stater (1.00g). Late Whaddon Chase type(?) crossed wreaths and crescents pattern, rev. horse left; XX above, unpublished. About very fine (100-150 pounds)'. Claimed to be from Mildenhall. `The obverse and the "rabbit" style of horse continues into the coinage of Addedomarus' (S1).
