Full Description
Coin, formerly part of H R Mossop Collection. Sold at Glendining's, November 1991. Iceni, Norfolk Wolf type, gold stater, `(6.06g) c. 60-50 BC, British J A, remains of Apollo head right, rev. wolf right; pellet and crescent below (Van Arsdell 610-1; Mack 49; Seaby 28). Very fine/good very fine (200-300 pounds)'. Claimed to be from `Freckenham 1986' (S1).
