Full Description
Coin, formerly part of H R Mossop Collection. Sold at Glendining's, November 1991. Iceni, Norfolk wolf type, gold stater `(6.06g), c. 60-50 BC, British JB, rev. wolf left; large pellet and three small pellets below (Van Arsdell 610-3; Mack 49B; Seaby 28). Extremely rare, very fine (200-300 pounds)'. Said to be from `Eriswell, Suffolk' (S1).
