Full Description

Southolt Green is named and shown on Hodskinson's Map of Suffolk 1783 (S1). Shown and named as The Green on the OS 1:10560 map of 1957. Forms an extension of Worlingworth Great Green (WGW 010) on the E and joins up with Church Green (SLT 006) on the W.
In 1963 Southolt had two existing commons: Great Common (14.25 acres) and Little Green (1.25 acres), together 15.5 acres (S2).
