Full Description

A Rom disc-headed object made from bronze and enamel, length 5.8cm, found in Wangford was presented to Moyses Hall Museum in 1984 by the finder (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s).
The stem of the artefact is 2.9cm long and oblong in section. It is surmounted by a disc-shaped head decorated with inlaid enamel in yellow and blue on one face. There is an oval hole in the centre of the head. Found with a metal detector (S1).
