Find Spot record HGR 042 - Undated lead seal, Horsecroft

A lead seal (?) length 2.5cm, thickness 1.2cm, and one concave face was donated to Moyses Hall Museum in 1984 by the finder. Found with a metal detector August 1983 on (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s).
Geoff Eyan of the Museum of London examined the artefact and said of it "I cannot identify it - it is not a cloth seal and I can see no definite trace of decoration" (S1).
