Full Description

Brick kiln and works. Shown on 1885 OS map (S1). Two brickworks were operating in Ousden at Lords Lane and Lady Green. They were (jointly?) working from at least 1810, and were operated by Thomas Hempstock 1873-1875; Walter Boreham 1885-1904; Frank (Walter's brother) Boreham 1922-1929 and Walter William Boreham from 1933-1939 (S2)(R1).
