Full Description

Lime kiln/s at Sudbury. Shown on 1881 OS map at TL 8794 4127 and on 1904 map at TL 8799 4127 (S2). Site cleared or infilled at time of site visit in July 1978 (S1). Chalk(?) pits also extended further to E (see 1958 1:10560 map).
