Full Description

A gilt bronze horse pendant length 3.3cm and dating from the Med period was donated to Moyses Hall Museum in 1984 by the finder (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Found with a metal detector.
It is an elongated and tapering oval. The loop at the broad end at right angles to the blade shows wear. The narrow end is damaged. It probably originates from a horse head-dress and would have been one of several dangling in a fringe (S1).

Formerly recorded as LKH MISC
