Full Description
A hoard of C17 miscellanea found at Barley House Farm in Winston. The hoard comprised: 20 leather shoes and one spur guard, 3 wooden tally sticks, 2 mummified kittens, part of a part-mummified rat, one wing bone of a goose or a swan, several bones of a sucking pig, one base of a small glass bottle and assorted fragments of leather and cloth, possibly clothing. These finds are loaned to Moyses Hall Museum by Mr and Mrs Willenbrock, Barley House Farm, Winston. See BSEMH file for further details (S1).
