Two mills are recorded at Hoxne in 1086. Watermill on the River Waveney as shown on Hodskinson's and Bowen's maps (S1)(S2). Construction date unknown. A bridge is shown in this(?) position on Bowen's and Saxton's map (S3). For further information, see (S4).
