Full Description

?Mislocation of watermill on the River Waveney as shown on Hodskinson's map (S1). Two mills are shown on Bowen's map (S2). One to the north of Homersfield bridge and one is shown much further south than on Hodskinson's map. Whether one of these relates to the same watermill as shown by Hodskinson is unknown. Hodskinson's mapping clearly locates the mill between Homersfield bridge and the N end of the present mill race. It seems likely that this is also inaccurate and that the actual site of the C18 mill is the same as the mill surviving today - see SEY 016.
