Full Description
Flint quernstone with flat pecked and ground top. Large flakes removed from underside, also some pecking, only circa one-fifth with cortex surviving. Circa 26 x 22 x 9cms maximum dimensions. Pale to dark grey patinated banded flint. Found placed under tree at TL 6982 8172, removed from loamy field surface to S, probably not far away.
Note: Possible `D' shaped enclosure cropmark at this location - see Un.
