Full Description
Series of irregular cropmarks, including trackway(?) and field boundaries, one of which crosses parish boundary and links to Falkenham 007. On different alignment to existing field boundaries (S1) and (S2).
Two ditched trackways of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs as cropmarks centred on circa TM28573930, in Kirton parish. The northernmost of the two tracks appears form a junction at circa TM28443922, one branch heading to the north-east to lead into the cropmark complex recorded as FLK 007, the other to the south-east. Unfortunately this second branch is not visible on further photographs but it does appear to be on a similar alignment to a probable later prehistoric or medieval track circa 200 metres to the south (see FLK 002) . The second track is circa 100 metres long and 4 metres wide, centred on circa 28783924. (S1)
