Full Description
Watching brief, principally of narrow foundation trenches, on site of Old Seed Mill. Large ditch identified (?outside castle outer bailey - see FML 001) may be town ditch. Details of recorded features and (?) artefacts to follow (S1).
Also note other possible town ditch entries - see FML 043 (castle bailey ditch?), 051 & 055 (bank??).
