Full Description

Part polished flint axe, grey, 5.3 inches long by 2.4 inches wide (max) by 1.2 inches thick (max). Fully polished on curved blade end, oval section, pointed butt. Blade and butt undamaged. One side of axehead heavily smashed (re-knapped?) but still very usable.
Found August 1990 during construction of houses (S1).
