Full Description
Cropmark of square/rectangular enclosure with possible entrance to W. N side masked by crop/field boundary. Width circa 100m E-W, 90+m N-S (S1). Circa 400m E of similar enclosure, ARW 014.
A roughly square, ditched enclosure of unknown date and function is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, centred on TM 21623432 to the north of Ness Farm in Arwarton parish. The square ditch encloses an area roughly 28m by 22m and has a possible entrance defined by a gap in its western corner. (S2) (S3) Photograph (S1) was unavailable for examination during the project.
