Full Description

Church of St Nicholas.
1214-15: Mention is made of a church in use.
1650: Chapel at Henham described as `anciently used for divine worship'. Consolidated with Wangford at about that time (S1).
1855: Listed as destroyed (S2). Location unknown, probably emparked area - see HAM 018 & 019.
Possibly same as that shown on Sexton's 1576 map - now in Tuttles Wood, see HAM 005.
