Full Description

`Windmill (corn)' shown at TM 1669 5953 on OS map of 1904 (S1). A windmill (construction date unknown) is also shown in same general area on Hodskinson's 1783 map (S2).
Said to have been post with open trestle type and to have been `rebuilt on same site' (or slightly to S? - note form of existing plot - in 1865 as post mill with roundhouse. Dismantled 1957 (S3). Demolished 1957, roundhouse demolished in 1969 (S4).
