Full Description
In excavation of a 30m square area around the Rom hoard findspot a number of prehistoric features were identified in the W half of the excavation. These included lines of post holes and small pits, some of which contained Beaker and EBA pottery, worked flints and burnt flints. Only a small sample of the visible features was excavated (S1).
