Full Description

Rescue excavation, during watching brief, of Preh feature/s containing pottery found during machining for farm reservoir of circa 150m by 150m. Excavation conditions very poor, many other features probably missed. Details to follow (S1).
The watching brief revealed probably evidence fopr Early Bronze Age activity and some indication of an Iron Age or Early Saxon presence in the area. See S2 for more detail.
