Full Description

Large pine-topped earthwork bank running for approximately 460m along field boundary and along SE edge of Berners Belt. Dimensions approximately 6m wide and 2.5m high (S1). Presumably an early attempt to enclose arable fields with pine lines to stop windblow (probably late C18/early C19). Formerly linked (?) to IKL 122.
