Full Description
(TL 762699) Two skeletons with Anglo/Saxon pottery, glassware and a pair of iron shears were found in 1900. (S1)
The area lies on a gentle north east slope within 250.0m of a small river. It is under permanent pasture and apart from a very slight amorphous disturbance there is nothing to identify the site. Mr Simpson the farm manager has no knowledge of the finds, and Lady Briscoe is deceased. (S2)
