Full Description

Some 50m N of junction of Lineage Wood SE boundary, the SW corner of Paradise Wood, and the NW corner of an open field, WSW of Lavenham. Standard type 27 pillbox. Single steel plate around embrasures, a round central pillar, round vents, steel MG mount. Entrance faces NNW. Described as Lavenham, actually Long Melford.

Pill box in Lineage Wood (S1) - part of a `stop-line' running from Sudbury to Mildenhall.
