Full Description

1996: Evaluation - 1 pit containing burnt flint, animal bones and BA pottery found during evaluation trenching. Soil horizon containing burnt flints surviving beneath peat in a low lying hollow - (?)water course. Most of site blank, suspect most archaeology probably lost through soil erosion/ agriculture (S1) , (S2). See S3 for a more detailed description.
