Full Description

Bridge spanning River Waveney on NE side of Bungay shown on maps by Saxton 1575 (S1), Speede 1610 (S2), Bowen 1755 (S3) and Hodskinson 1783 (S4). Construction date unknown. Falcons Bridge now exists at approximately the same location.
Note: LSax and Med pottery found in alluvium adjoining bridge - see BUN 011.
