1349: Release of `the Manor of Bek, in the vills of Isilham & Frakenham' by Thomas de Clopton to John de Sanston (S1)(R1).
Beck/Bek/Beckhall manor was a sub-manor of Freckenham mentioned in 1452 (R2); 1556, when owned by Robert Payton & 1559, when acquired by Robert Tovull and others (S2).
Bec Manor was probably located in the area of Beck Bridge, Beck Common & Beck Green at TL 662 732.
