Wickham Skeith Town House marked and named on OS 1st edition and 1904 maps (S1)(S2). Probably same as building shown on Hodskinson's 1783 map (S3). Destroyed during(?) 2nd world war airfield construction. (S2) shows remains of possible moat to S of house.
