Full Description

Long earthwork bank (shown on OS 1st ed map) with rectilinear enclosure (plantation) banks to SW (S1). Connects to series of banks, STN 050 to W.

July 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The post medieval boundary bank and plantation banks described above are visible as earthworks on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S3). They have not been mapped but the polygon defining the extent of the site has been amended to accord with their location on the lidar image. It is clear from both the historical maps and the lidar that the boundary bank extends for some distance further to the northeast, but this is not currently included within the site.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 6th July 2017.
