Monument record STN 059 - Undated mound, High Lodge

Irregular but roughly circular mound at junction of a series of recent (C20) forestry rides. Possibly natural sand hillock but looks artificial. A fair scatter of Preh burnt and worked flints, in approximately equal proportions, are visible on the surfaces of the trackways in this area (S1).

The undated mound (perhaps a Bronze Age round barrow) described above was not seen on the consulted sources, although recent lidar imagery (S2) indicates that the ground here is uneven.
