Full Description
Site of brick works and kiln shown on 2nd edition (1904) OS map (S1). Neighbouring lane is called `Kiln Lane', shown on (S1), 1981 OS map (S3) and on 1958 OS map (S2). Crossways/New Kiln operated from at least 1783 to 1939 when it closed - details in (S4).
