Full Description

Mill Hill. Four-storey tower mill, ceased work c.1910. The tower was demolished in the 1940s leaving the base as a stone. There were four patent sails, a domed cap with fantail and a stage at first floor level (S1). Earliest mapping 1824 (S2). Depicted on 1737 map as post mill on mound (S3).
