Full Description

Windmill, identified using Great Whelnetham tithe map & apportionment (S1). Notes on `Suffolk Windmills on Maps' record it as being mapped from 1824 to 1902 (S2).
Present on OS 1:2500 map of 1904 (S3), not on OS 1:10,000 (S4). Chapel Hill Windmill, built in 1801, demolished 1914. Post mill with roundhouse (S5).
