`A Survey of Suffolk Parish History' (S1) describes the position of a water mill as immediately north of bridge in Bridge Street and in existence circa 1340.
A watermill at 'Myllesbridge', Framlingham was deemed 'utterlie decayed' in 1589 (S2).
