Full Description

Palstave 14.6cm long, 4.5cm wide, found on Corton beach.
Looped palstave with trident decoration (S1)(R1). Found at Corton (press cutting incorrectly cites Hopton) on sea shore, July 1952, after cliff collapse. Found by Hubert West, when 14 years old, 55 Northampton Road, Harborough (Market Harborough ?). Photograph & press cutting (S2). In Norwich Castle Museum, recorded as from `Hopton-on-Sea (formerly Corton Beach, Suffolk)', and described as `broken' (S3).
