Full Description
Bracelet, complete but in two parts, slightly distorted. Circa 60mm diameter, width 8mm max, 5mm min, circa 1mm thick. Simple hook terminals. Decorated with bands of ring & dot and diagonal lines, separated by `vertical' dividers (sketch drawing to follow).
Found `recently' by Eastern Electricity workman (S1) while trenching, at 4 foot depth in hard, sandy, stoney layer. Said to be from near edge of trackway on field headland at circa TL 885 658/9 (S1). Bracelet probably late Roman.
