Full Description

Place-name (Kiln Grove) suggesting kiln in area of cited NGR from Troston Tithe (S1).
A brick works was operating in Troston in the later C19 - operated by George Secker 1861; William Guymer 1873; J Guymer. Definitely operating up to 1888 (S2). OS 1st edition 1:2500 map needs checking for location.
