Full Description
February 1994: Limited desktop survey & excavation of a trial trench as evaluation prior to development of drive-in restaurant. Results show site to have been partially levelled - no features of archaeological interest were identified and the only pre Victorian finds were four sherds of Late Medieval(?) pottery and two worked flints (all unstratified). Details in (S1).
